Armor?
Out of all the professions the Dervishes and Paragons have it the worst when it comes to Armor. I think that it would be a great addition to have Elite armor in Proph. and Factions for all professions. It is obvious that there can be additions to Elite armor. Having Vabbian Rit armor, but no Dervish Canthan?
It seems weird that we can't show our Kurzick/Luxon pride on all char. Not to mention a lack in armors for HoM.

Rits and factions came before NF, so the Devs already had working rit models when they were designing vabbian armor sets.
There hasn't been a single case of developers retro-actively adding prestige armor to a profession to the game since GW1, where an elite warr set was added to an existing lineup (Elite Charr hide I think.)
Safe bet it's not happening. The live team does not include a 3d artist last I checked.

Why would you have dervish armor in prophecies? Dervish was released with nightfall which was much much later.

I understand that NF came last and has the least number of armor available to the NF specific professions. What I am saying is the idea of adding armor so that each profession has the same number available to choose from. I know it is very unlikely, but the thought came to me when looking for elite armor for my HoM, my War. can have 16 elite sets(in theory), but my dervish can only have 8?
Also there are dervish and paragon greens in factions that have been added in, and also the end game weapons for all campaigns and EotN have it for all prof, Why not armor?

*my paragon smashes your face, for saying he has an ugly armor*
Obsidian + Chaos Gloves + Non-matching EOTN Headgear.
every professions can do it, so no problem with armors.

Check again. Warrior can have 17. Ranger gets 15. Monk gets 16. Elementalist gets 15. Necromancer gets 16. Mesmer gets 15. Assassin gets 11. Ritualist gets 11. Dervish gets 8. Paragon gets 8.
So you are right in that there are not the same number of armor sets for each class to use in the HoM. You are just off a bit on the numbers. I would certainly love more armor sets, but I also know that Anet has told us it takes a LOT of time to put armor into the game. With the number of people working on GW1 still, I doubt they will ever put more in. And my guess is that GW2 won't give us anything we need the armor for, other than what we can already get with 8 sets for Paragon and Dervish.
And this is not a new idea. Perhaps you could search for other topics about this and add to them.

im not going on a limb when i say i highly highly doubt that they would bother with making new models for armor. Hell we barely get much of an update anymore, so dont expect armor.

The live team doesn't even have a full-time artist. How do you expect them to pull this off?
Even if they could, I would rather they didn't. There are far, far more pressing matters to attend to in this game.

Putting what else they could be doing aside, I'd be up for a Lux and Kurz set for each. The argument of what came first is irrelevant, since there Are Sin and Rit armors in NF. Don't think theres a need for any more than that though.
EDIT: I mean 2 good thought out original armors. Not a lame reskin like we got in EotN.

Moar armor!
Yeah, not the first thread we've had about this either. No need really for another one.
